Build your wardrobe around key pieces.

So for this post I want to talk about building your wardrobe around key pieces, and specifically accessories. For example I wear this Lanvin belt with everything. It was an investment piece. I also wear these Chloe clogs quite a bit. If you invest in a few key pieces you love you can mix and match them with highs and lows in your wardrobe and always have a nice finished look. So for example, you don't have to spend a ton of money getting every single pair of designer shoes you spot. Save up, and invest in things you know you'll wear multiple times. This is always my advice, if you see a fun neon green lace up shoe at Forever 21 for $30 go ahead, you'll wear them maybe once or twice and maybe resell them at Crossroads Trading Company. But if you see a pair of classic black pumps you just have to have from say, Chanel, that would be the time to save up and splurge because you want to think about comfort and quality for the key pieces in your wardrobe. You want something that is comfortable and going to hold up if you plan on making it one of your go-to items. So the higher fashion designers are more expensive, but the quality is what makes that splurge worth it. For example, these Chloe clogs are genuine leather, genuinely comfortable, I wear them all the time and they still look brand new. So find some key pieces, and don't splurge and spend $800 on a pair of shoes you think you'll only wear once. Thats my advice :)
